The Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) is an online self-assessment tool used by organisations to measure their performance against the National Data Guardian’s 10 data security standards.
Any organisation that accesses NHS patient data or systems must use the DSPT to demonstrate good data security practices and responsible handling of personal information.
