File Name Restrictions

Reading time 1 mins To enhance our security measures, we are implementing the following updates: File Name Restrictions: File names must be 128 characters or fewer. Permissible characters include: Alphanumeric characters Commas Full stops Hyphens Spaces Underscores File Content Checks: Additional checks are now in place for the following file types to prevent malicious uploads through simple renaming of file extensions: MP3 MP4 JPEG (& JPG) PNG PDF DOCX PPTX XLSX XML DOC XLS PPT Blocked File Types: Executable files (.exe) are always blocked. ZIP and RAR files will be blocked. These updates are designed to improve our system’s security and protect against potential threats.

LFPSE - Manage and View Submissions

This article outlines how you can view and manage LFPSE submissions in your Radar Healthcare system.Any events submitted to LFPSE can be viewed in Administration > PSIMS.N.B. You will need to have the relevant permissions enabled for your system role to view this part of Radar.The API submissions refresh regularly so it is likely this will always appear blank when you open this page.Actions you can complete:Select ‘Show submitted’ in the top right to view the information already submitted. Filter for submissions by clicking the purple funnel icon in the top right. View an LFPSE event by clicking the 3 dots on the right of a submission and clicking ‘View Event’ Click ‘Maintain PSIMS details’ to update your API Key if needed.If there are any issues with your submissions, please contact support@radarhealthcare.com with the event references.

LFPSE (Psims) Permissions

You can manage and view your LFPSE submissions in your Radar system once LFPSE reporting is live in your system. You can control which users are able to manage AND view LFPSE submissions by setting up role-based permissions:Go to Administration > Access Control Click on the arrow heads expand the headings and find a role that needs LFPSE permissions Under ‘PSIMS api permissions’ select the box to tick ‘Manage PSIMS’For more information on using Access Control please see our article here: https://community.radarhealthcare.com/user-management-inc-permissions-75/setting-permissions-in-access-control-746?tid=746&fid=75

LFPSE - V6 Updates – Sept 2024

This article outlines the new features of LFPSE Version 6: Instead of having 1 LFPSE form that contains all Incident, Good Care, Outcome, Risk and Governance questions, there are 5 separate forms: LFPSE – Incident LFPSE – Good Care LFPSE – Outcome LFPSE – Risk LFPSE – Governance It is mandatory to add the LFPSE Guidance text to appear in the event drop down list to help users select the right event option: Event Option LFPSE Guidance Text Incident Something unexpected or unintended has happened, or failed to happen, that could have or did lead to patient harm Good Care An example of good care that can be learned from Risk A risk to patient safety in the future, though no patients have yet been affected Outcome A poor outcome routinely reported locally where it is not yet known whether or not the outcome was caused by a patient safety incident Whenever the LFPSE form is filled in, the data will submit to

There are 7 steps to set up LFPSE reporting within your Radar Healthcare system:1. Register for an LFPSE Account 2. Share your ODS Code(s) with Radar 3. Confirm your Radar LFPSE setup 4. Test your LFPSE set up 5. Enable Your Locations for LFPSE reporting 6. Prepare for Go Live 7. Get your API Key and Go Live!Find more information on each step below…1. What permissions do I need for this feature? Can I reassign the Audit Owner here? Introduction Audits are made up of workflow steps. These can be the sections containing your audit questions, the action plan review step, or the authorisation step. This new feature allows you to reassign these audit workflow steps, individually and on mass. Build Reassigning Navigate to the Administration panel > Bulk Assignment > Audit Workflows. NB: You may see an icon called ‘Audit’ [as above], please note this is regarding the previous version of the Audit tool which will be deactivated in the future. The Risk Approval Step

Reading Time 2 minsIntroduction Activating the Approval Step Approving a Risk Risk StatusesIntroduction The Risk Approval feature is optional and allows you to have a final step in the creation of a risk, whereby the risk owner needs to select an approver for this risk. The approver can approve, or not approve the risk, and the risk will be labelled as such. Risks can only be approved by individuals with the permission to approve risks. It is possible for anyone with the risk approval permission to approve any risk, however a specific approver must be selected to ensure there is a responsible person for each risk. Please note; if the Approval step is activated after risks have been populated on your Risk Register then it will not appear on the existing risks, and will only appear for newly added risks.
