Introducing Bulk Assign for New and Improved Audit

Please note - this user guide is in reference to the Enhanced Audit functionality. Reading time 2 minsIntroduction Build Reassigning FAQ Do audit workflow steps show in End Dated Users? What permissions do I need for this feature? Can I reassign the Audit Owner here? Introduction Audits are made up of workflow steps. These can be the sections containing your audit questions, the action plan review step, or the authorisation step. This new feature allows you to reassign these audit workflow steps, individually and on mass. Build Reassigning Navigate to the Administration panel > Bulk Assignment > Audit Workflows. NB: You may see an icon called ‘Audit’ [as above], please note this is regarding the previous version of the Audit tool which will be deactivated in the future. Select Audit Workflow and you will be shown a range of search options, including: Assigned to - this allows you to find audit workflow steps assigned to a specific user. The Risk Approval Step

Reading Time 2 minsIntroduction Activating the Approval Step Approving a Risk Risk StatusesIntroduction The Risk Approval feature is optional and allows you to have a final step in the creation of a risk, whereby the risk owner needs to select an approver for this risk. The approver can approve, or not approve the risk, and the risk will be labelled as such. Risks can only be approved by individuals with the permission to approve risks. It is possible for anyone with the risk approval permission to approve any risk, however a specific approver must be selected to ensure there is a responsible person for each risk. Please note; if the Approval step is activated after risks have been populated on your Risk Register then it will not appear on the existing risks, and will only appear for newly added risks. Dictionary of Medicines + Devices (DM+D)

Reading time 2 minsIntroduction DM+D Search Implementing the DM+D FAQs Can this work with LFPSE prior to version 6? Introduction The Dictionary of Medicines + Devices is a database of medicines and devices in use across the NHS. It is refreshed weekly with a vast amount of information. This database can be searched directly within Radar Healthcare, via a field on a form, to enable your users to list associated specific medicines or devices involved in their events. This provides better and more accurate data that is also available in Analytics and Reporting. This forms part of LFPSE version 6, and can be used in other events. DM+D Search The DM+D search can be embedded into an event form via a search field. The work to add this field to the form is completed by Radar Healthcare. When a user gets to this field, they are able to search on the name of the medicine or device. You can search either the full name or a partial name. Reading time minsIntroduction PDS in Action Implementing the PDS FAQ Can this work with LFPSE prior to version 6? Can I use the PDS for my Electronic Patient Record? This is possible, however, you will need to have a new custom list created, as the PDS would no integrate into the existing one. IntroductionThe PDS is a national database of all NHS patients in England, Wales and the Isle of Man. A field can be added onto forms within Radar Healthcare that searches this database and captures patient details onto the form. The information is also available in Analytics and Reporting. This will be standard with LFPSE version 6. PDS in ActionThe work to add the PDS field to a form is completed by Radar Healthcare. When completing the form, your users will be able to search for a patient using their NHS number.Once the search has been successful the user can select the plus icon to add the patient to this form.There is an option to enter the patients details manually if the sear

Audit Stages/Statuses (New and Improved)

Please note - this user guide is in reference to the Enhanced Audit functionality.Reading time 2 minsIntroduction Terminology Analytics IntroductionWhen viewing the Audit List and Audit dashboards in Analytics you will come across different audit stages or statuses. The term stages is used in the Audit List. This is in reference to the audit workflow and it’s progression. The term status is used in the Analytics. This is also in reference to the audit workflow and it’s progression. Terminology The following Stage are visible on the Audit List.Not Started. This audit is scheduled and had not yet been started on any stage of the workflow. Audit in progress. The audit has been started. A user must confirm that they wish to begin the audit and this changes the status from ‘Not started’ to ‘Audit in progress’. This status references the audit questions. Applying scope permissions to Custom Analytical Dashboards

Reading time 2 minsIntroduction Applying Dashboard OID Introduction When sharing a dashboard with a user it is granting them access to view the information held within the data source (commonly referred to as the ‘cube’). For example, if you have built a dashboard using your Event data ‘cube’ then by sharing this dashboard into Radar Healthcare and granting permission for a user to see that dashboard they are granted access to view the Event date ‘cube.’ This allows them to see the data displayed in your dashboard. If you then share a dashboard with the same cube as its source at a lower scope, then the system (because user already has access to the entire cube) will allow that user to see data from the highest scope. To address this, we introduced the concept of ‘OID’ filters. This is filtering the permissions based on the dashboard itself rather than the cube.
