The Digital Consent Module is a digital solution that helps healthcare organisations improve the way they manage patient consent. From enhancing patient understanding to supporting clinical teams, the Digital Consent Module helps embed a safer, more consistent consent process.

This toolkit is designed for project teams responsible for deploying the Digital Consent Module. Inside, you'll find technical guidance, implementation resources, and step-by-step support to help you deliver a smooth rollout.

The System overview article is a good starting point, or jump into some System configuration information about the solution. If implementation is your area, then the Project set-up section will guide you through the process.

What does implementation involve?

The implementation process is designed to be structured and collaborative. Here’s a summary of what to expect:

  1. Kick-off and planning

Agree your delivery scope, set timelines, and define roles. A project initiation document will guide the setup.

  1. Resource planning

Identify key stakeholders – including clinical leads, IT teams and project sponsors – and agree on time commitments.

  1. System setup and configuration

Radar Healthcare will configure your Sandbox system and help agree the product setup, including procedure lists, user permissions and integration requirements.

  1. Integration and technical setup

Plan and implement the chosen integration methods, such as HL7 messaging, Single Sign-On (SSO), and PDF return to your document management system.

  1. Training and onboarding

Tailored training sessions for clinicians, admin users and trainers to make sure your teams are ready and confident with the new system.

  1. Go live support

Finalise testing, confirm governance approvals, and go live with floorwalking support and a clear business continuity plan.

  1. Post-launch monitoring and support

Continue with regular project reviews, user feedback, and adjustments as needed. Radar Healthcare will remain available to support as you embed the system.
