To enhance our security measures, we are implementing the following updates:

1. File Name Restrictions:

   • File names must be 128 characters or fewer.
   • Permissible characters include:
     • Alphanumeric characters
     • Commas
     • Full stops
     • Hyphens
     • Spaces
     • Underscores

2. File Content Checks:

   • Additional checks are now in place for the following file types to prevent malicious uploads through simple renaming of file extensions:
     • MP3
     • MP4
     • JPEG (& JPG)
     • PNG
     • PDF
     • DOCX
     • PPTX
     • XLSX
     • XML
     • DOC
     • XLS
     • PPT

3. Blocked File Types:

   • Executable files (.exe) are always blocked.
   • ZIP and RAR files will be blocked.

These updates are designed to improve our system’s security and protect against potential threats.
